Latte Coffee Kalibo is a small café located at the 2nd floor of the Kalibo International Airport. You will not notice it at first since it was among the souvenir stores there. There are small tables with it that can sit around ten people. There are only a few guests and most of them are just eating light snacks before the flight. They offer drinks, coffee, pastries, pasta and sandwiches. We chose to eat there since it was only a few minutes before our flight.

Milk Tea Hunt: Serenitea
The newly opened branch of Serenitea located at Rada Street in Makati is becoming popular since its opening a few weeks ago.Since I like milk tea, I wanted to try it out and so, I went there just to have a taste of the famed Serenitea.
From our office at Ayala Avenue, you need to walk going to Dela Rosa Street and as you see the Rada, Street sign, you are near! You just need to walk further down the street and you will find this store at the left side of the street (if you're from Dela Rosa) with a brightly lit signboard at the front.

Food Trippin' Boracay: Andok's
As our first meal in Boracay, we decided to go to D'Mall and see what we can have. There are a lot of option there but we ended up choosing Andok's Manok for our lunch.
Located at the middle of the D'Mall, you can find a small area where Andok's is. It is besides the other restaurants there with some tables and chairs for customers to dine in. You can have your order on their counter where you can also choose what is available there. You will then wait for your order to be served.

Food Trippin' Mercato: Manang's Chicken
When we were in the Midnight Mercato, we tried this popular Chicken Wings that my friend is raving about. It is from a stall called Manang's Chicken.
It was said that this yummy chicken wings were just a recipe of the owner's helper and every time it was served to the guests, they keep coming back for more, and so, they decided to try their luck on the Midnight Mercato and opened a stall there and soon, foodies discovered the yummy and crispy chicken wings in a unique dip that will you will surely crave for.

Midnight Food Haven at the Midnight Mercato
Midnight Mercato is becoming a popular trend with the foodies of the city. It is similar to Ortigas' Banchetto wherein different food stall gather in a certain area every Friday night and offer a variety of dishes for those who love to experience the different treats eaach stall has to offer.
It opens at around 10pm and if you really want to experience it, you should be there at around that time. There are seats available and even if food stalls are not all opened yet, most of them are already operating. The food stalls are all at the sides of the place. You can chose from different varieties, pasta, grilled, baked, etc. There are really a lot of choices here. The tables and chairs are at the middle. Sometimes, it extends outside but since it was a bit rainy, all of them are cramped inside the tent. There is also a mini stage in the middle of the tent that was built for this. This is where performers play music. It provides a nice ambiance in the chaotic queues of people lining up for food.

Food Trippin' Istanbul: Konyali Mevlana
It was a Sunday and after bumming for the whole day at the hotel, we decided to have dinner and at the same time, explore the shops around. We found ourselves in a small restaurant called Konyali Mevlana and even if we don't have any idea what they have in the menu, we went there and had our dinner.
The place is quite big. It has a lot of seats inside and the place extends outside the main restaurant. The place is well lit and you can smell the different flavors of food that they prepare there. The staff is also attentive even if it was difficult for us to communicate with them since they don't speak English. As the menu was given to us, we quickly decide what we wanted and just point to them hoping they'd understand us.

Food Trippin' Singapore: Tiong Bahur
Before we finally go home, we had our last lunch at Singapore at Tiong Bahur Haineanese Boneless Chicken Rice and Curry Rice near our inn in Clarke Quay and just across Central Mall.
This restaurant is located at the side streets and among the array of restaurants in the area. It is like an eatery similar here in the Philippines. The place is just small and there are a lot of tables for the customers. It is packed during lunch time that they extend to the streets just to accommodate hungry customers. At the back of the place is the counter and kitchen area. Here is where you pay your food upon ordering. By the way, the staff there seats you first then hands out the menu then you chose and tell them. They then give you a piece of paper and you have to pay it on the counter.

Boracay Weekend Escapade
It was a spontaneous trip to the famous island down south in Aklan. We booked a few weeks back before my friend's birthday where in she will celebrate her birthday in the beautiful island of Boracay.
It was my first time on this island even if I have travel most parts of the Philippines. My wanderlust to this place started when I was still in elementary when my aunt visited here and they went there. More than a decade after that, I finally got to step on the white sand beach that is famed all over the world.

Food Trippin' Singapore: Bongo Burgers at the Night Safari
After our trip around the Night Safari and enjoyed the animals and shows inside, we are all feeling hungry and a late night dinner is the only option we have right then.Just near the entrance of the park is a small restaurant which serves burgers and pastas. We decided to have dinner here at Bongo Burgers.
We decided to have dinner here since the place is not much crowded and it was much cooler in the area. The place is just small, a small counter and kitchen plus the tables that extend up to the walk ways of the park. You have to queue on the counter upon ordering and the waiters serves you your food on your table. The place is with the park's theme. It was like a safari with zebra prints and a lot of native stuff all around.

My Fluffy Twigy Boots
Back in Istanbul, it was getting chilly at night since it was already autumn. The sneakers that I was wearing wasn't of help and so, as were exploring Carrefour, we saw a shop which sells different kind of furry footwear that we are sure will be nice to have on our stay there. It was Twigy and ever since we saw that store, we always have loved looking around there.
Located at Carrefour, the small stall they have near the main grocery/shopping area can easily be seen with a lot of shoes hanging from ceiling to floor of the store. The place is dimply lit and packed with different displays of their products. The walkway is only good for a person to pass through. They have a range of products from boots to slippers. You can choose from a wide array of selection.

Food Trippin' Singapore: Sergeant Hainanese Chicken Rice
While we are touring Singapore on our third day of vacation, we decided to have lunch before heading to Orchard Road and one of the first malls we have gone into as we alight at the Orchard Road Station of the MRT is Wisma Atria Shopping Centre and there, we looked for a food court where we found Sergeant Hainanese Chicken Rice and decided to have lunch there.
Since we're all fond of eating Chicken Rice on our stay in Singapore, we all agreed to have lunch on this place. Sergeant Hainanese Chicken Rice is located at the far end of the Food Republic of Wisma Atria Mall.Their stall is quite big and you can see the chicken that they served being hanged on display behind a thick glass. Basically, you can see them prepare your food upon ordering.

Backpacking Singapore: Siloso Beach at Sentosa
There are a lot of attractions to find at Sentosa but since we enjoyed our Universal Studios for almost the whole day, we have a few hours to spare in exploring Sentosa. So off we went to Sentosa Express and alighted at the last station where you can find a shuttle or tram going to Siloso Beach.
A reclaimed area using the the sands bought from Indonesia and Malaysia, the beach is just an artificial one. There are two other beaches with Siloso on Sentosa, they are Palawan and Tanjong. There are also shuttles to bring you at these sites but we chose Siloso since the shuttle going there comes regularly.

Milk Tea Hunt: Tea Farm
There is a newly opened store in KPMG Building, along Ayala Avenue near our office. I learned that they sell milk tea and so, we went there and followed the winking cow logo of the store to taste the growing popular Tea Farm.
Located at the ground floor of KPMG Building, at the back, you will find a small stall where they sell hot and cold tea and some pastries. The area is small but they still provide quests with tables to stay in. It fits less than ten people and the tables are located outdoors. The place usually caters for take outs but just in case you want to hang out, they have space for that. Though the area is not that good and not relaxing since a lot of people pass by that area.

Milk Tea Hunt: ChaTime
For my second entry for my 'Milk Tea Hunt' segment, I'd blog about ChaTime located at the bridge way of Glorietta and Landmark in Makati.
For a while, I have been seeing this small stall however, queue here is so long so I decided that I'd try it out once the hype of a newly opened store has subsided. One morning, the queue was incredibly short so I knew this is the time I try this place out.

Milk Tea Hunt: Moonleaf Tea Shop
I love milk tea ever since I get to taste one back in my previous company. Since then, I always loved it, even making my own mix. I promised to taste all the milk tea shops I could find so I started this segment in my blog called 'Milk Tea Hunt' to blog about all the milk tea shops I ever went into. I was glad that my friend invited me to UP Teacher's Village to have a taste of yet another yummy milk tea mix in Moonleaf Tea Shop.
Located at Maginhaw Street, Moonleaf Tea Shop is found among the many establishments in this residential area. The place is small and you can't barely notice it when you pass by it. It is beside a small place where they serve yummy food. As you enter the place, you can find seats outside with the customers enjoying their drink. This is also for the smokers since the store is air conditioned and is a non-smoking area.

It was a quite a while since our last lunch our and we decided to have one. originally, we wanted to dine at Shakey's but it was packed with customers at lunch time, and so, we walked the streets of Valero and found World Topps with just a few people dining in.
Located beside Mang Inasal at Valero Street, just behind PBCom Building is Worlt Topps. It is a small place and you can hardly notice it save for the sign on the restaurant entrance. As you enter, you will be greeted warmly by the waiters which will seat you. The place is just small. around ten to twenty people could fit, however, they have a second floor which offers more seats.

Coffee Tasting at Starbucks
After our run for a cause, Rain 4 Africa, we decided to have breakfast and since I am collecting stickers for a Starbucks planner, we agreed to eat at Starbucks in Shell Gas Station at SLEX and spend the morning there.
After we had ordered drinks and food, we stayed there for a long time. When I say long time, it was about four to five hours. Our food were finished and so are our drinks. We were just chit chatting there letting time pass by. After a while, a Barista went to us and asked us if we were to stay longer. I thought she would tell that we should leave, but instead, she asked us if we would like to participate on their Coffee Tasting Activity. And we gladly agreed.

Family Dinner at North Park
It was my brother's sort of despedida dinner before going to Singapore for work and we decided to have a family dinner at North Park, Alabang Town Center.
It wasn't my first time to eat at North Park, nor blog about it but I think I need to express my thoughts on the place and food and service on this branch.

Running for a Cause: Rain 4 Africa
This morning, I ran for a cause. I woke up at 4 in the morning to prepare and wait for my friends to fetch me so that together we all go to Filinvest Alabang for our 5K run for Rain 4 Africa, a run to help the poor kids so that they may have something to eat.
Organized by the Lifeline Foundation, the event aims to raise funds so that kids on East Africa. The proceeds will go to the World Food Programme for their projects to help those kids. Registration was worth PHP400 for all distances, which are 3K, 5K, and 10K. Even if it was a bit expensive, the cause was all worth it.

Food Trippin' Istanbul: Begüm Börek
As we explore the streets on where our hotel, Byotell, was located, we found ourselves in a small café when we were hungry and looking for dinner. Just a block away from Byotell is Begüm Börek or Begüm Café.
At first er thought that they were already closing up since it was quite late already but as soon as we enter the small place, the staff greeted us warmly. We asked for the available dishes and they showed us pictures on their menu. They were accommodating and were trying their best to communicate with us even if it was like a charade telling them what we want.

Our trip at Singapore would not be complete if we have don't visit one of its main tourist attraction, Universal Studios Singapore located at Resorts World Sentosa at Sentosa Island.

You can also opt not to buy there if you only wish to go to Universal Studios. You can ride the Sentosa Express which is a monorail train going to Sentosa Island and alight at the first stop which is where Universal Studios is located.

Food Trippin' Istanbul: Ikbal
While we are in Bağdat Caddesi, we decided to take our lunch in one of the restaurants on the street. We all chose Ikbal which shows Doner Meat on the windows. We were convinced that the stores served good food and so we dined in there.
The place is small but can fit around twenty to thirty people on the first floor. I think they also have heating upstairs. The waiters quickly accommodates you upon entering the place. They will seat you accordingly and will try their best to communicate with you which is very nice because we are foreigners in the place. The counter shows a lot of pictures of the dishes they have and so we just chose what we like there. The waiter was also kind enough to explain the dishes to us the best he can even though I just half understood it. They also have a menu but the images on the counter is enough for us to decide what to have.

Food Trippin' Kuala Lumpur Malaysia: Mixed Rice
Our lunch at Malaysia was spent in KLCC Suria Mall right after viewing the Petronas Twin Towers that noon. We immediately decided to eat the food court since there are a lot of choices there. We went to each food stall and ended up ordering at Mixed Rice in Signature Food Court.
Mixed Rice offers a variety of dishes. To order here, you can opt to choose two to three different viands of the dishes available on the counter. It is paired with rice and all the dishes are just placed around it, mixing the sauces with it.

Karate Kid's Sweet Crepes
We were walking at SM Sothmall when we decided to have a quick snack because we were quite hungry. We saw Karate Kid and my brother recommended that its Crepes are good and I would like to try it out and so we went there and ordered one for each of us.
The place is just small and upon entering, you are greeted by the counter to get your order. The seats are all inside and around twenty to thirty people could fit the whole place. It is a fast food so there are a lot of people coming in and out and you cannot control the noise from the other guests. We just stayed at the counter area since we will just order a crepe to go. We all ordered the favor we want and the staff quickly made our order.

After Work Dinner at Wee Nam Kee
After our Singapore trip, I was still craving for Chicken Rice and one night, after office, a friend ask us to dine out before going home. I asked for a Singaporean place so I can enjoy once again and satisfy my Chicken Rice craving, and so, we all dined at Wee Nam Kee located at Ayala Triangle Gardens.
Wee Nam Kee is originally from Singapore but now, it can be enjoyed here in the Philippines when it was brought here and can be found at the heart of Makati CBD. It serves traditional Singaporean dishes like the Hainanese Chicken Rice which I was craving that time.
