Family Dinner at North Park

It was my brother's sort of despedida dinner before going to Singapore for work and we decided to have a family dinner at North Park, Alabang Town Center.

It wasn't my first time to eat at North Park, nor blog about it but I think I need to express my thoughts on the place and food and service on this branch.

First stop, The branch. Located at the ground floor of Alabang Town Center, in the original building facing Alabang-Zapote Road, you can find the big restaurant that can accommodate around thirty to fifty people. Most of the space in the place was occupied by their kitchen. The tables were so close to each other that there is a few area for moving. The seats are so crammed together that you'll bump elbows with people on nearby tables. Also, the space is so small for all the food you order to fit. You need to finish a plate quickly just to make sure there is enough room for the next dish. The place is generally crammed with hungry customers during dinner hours so better come early so you can get a nice seat away from the main isle where there are a lot of people passing by.

The Kitchen, counter and the crowded dining area

The staff is nice. They quickly accommodate you upon entering. They clean tables and give the menu and plates upon ordering. They even ask you if you would like their house tea while waiting for the dish. The dish however took time to be served. This is because the food is being cooked upon ordering. You need to be extra patient since peak hours may take a bit longer than usual. The staff however assists you well upon arrival of the food. You can ask them to mix the food if you like. They are also alert in taking the empty plates off the table.

House Tea

The food here is simply good. We had the North Park Toasted Noodles, Boneless Honey Lemon Chicken, Stir Fried Beef with Broccoli Flower, Yang Chow Fried Rice and a Shark's Fin Siomai.

Yang Chow Fried Rice (PHP179.30)

Boneless Honey Lemon Chicken (PHP239.80)

Shark's Fin Siomai (PHP88)

Stir Fried Beef with Broccoli Flower (PHP289.30)

North Park Toasted Noodles (PHP294.80)

All the food was good. Consistent with the other branches. It was filling and each serving is good for sharing. I always will love eating Chinese food here and would definitely go back here often whenever I have the cravings.

Overall, the ATC branch was good in terms of service and food. The only thing that I didn't quite like is the crowded seats which makes it hard for the guests to move more freely.

They also accept senior citizen discount that was nice since it was still a big savings for us.
