After we toured the Trick Eye Museum, we were all hungry and cold from walking along the streets of Seoul. Also, we were not sure what to do next for the rest of the day. We decided to stop by Caffe Bene for a cup of hot beverage.
This coffee shop is near the Trick Eye Museum, it was just a few blocks away. Also, it is just near the subway station, so we will not walk long to get to our next destination. There are a lot more branches of Caffe Bene around Korea and I think it is the more popular coffee shop here. It was nice that I get to stop by here and enjoy the place.
The shop is quite big and cozy. It is a perfect stop on a cold winter day. It is spacious inside and the seats are comfortable. The shop was almost full as we got there but we managed to get some seats. It is also a good spot to recharge our tech gadgets since outlets are available around. I think this place is a nice hang out area where you can study or work. They also offer free PC's and internet connections for the guests which is convenient for us all.
The crew are friendly here. They wear a nice smile to each guests that enter. They are also accommodating and patient with us as we chose our orders. The price range is reasonable and there are a lot in the menu to choose from.
I had their Special Hot Chocolate while the others ordered a Caramel Macchiato and Cappuccino. We also had a plate of Strawberry Whipped Cream Waffle.
The Waffle was also good. It is perfect with the beverage we had.
The Hot Chocolate was very good and I simply loved it. It was just too sweet but it was good. I liked it very much.
The place is nice and cozy and we enjoyed our short stay there. It is a nice place to stay when you're waiting for someone. If ever i'd be back there, I'd definitely go to Caffe Bene again. :)
