Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (2011)

It was the second installment and the last movie of the Harry Potter series. Looking back, I remember that I was still in High School when this series of movies started, they were all kids back then and it was such fun to go back those first movies. Technically, the series had 7 books all in all but they have produced 8 movies from it, dividing the last book into two parts. So after about 9 years, the Harry Potter saga had finally come to the last movie.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows is just the continuation of the Harry Potter movie last November 2011.  It is based on the 7th Harry Potter book by J.K. Rowling. This movie answers all the questions and finishes the story of the boy who lived and his journey and adventures in the world of witchcraft and wizardry.

Dinner at Chic-Boy: Chicken at Baboy

The last time I ate at a Chic-Boy branch was a year ago and it was in their only branch by that time in Makati. Now, I was surprised that they have a branch near my place in Alabang. So together with my friends, we went there to have dinner.

Located at 2/F El Molito Commercial Center, Madrigal Ave. cor. Alabang- Zapote Rd., Muntinlupa City, just besides Pure Gold, Chic-Boy Chciken at Baboy offers a variety of meals that is surely in your budget.

Sweet Treats at Cinnabon

On our way home from our Batangas weekend getaway, we stopped by a gas station in South Luzon Expressway around San Pedro, Laguna to grab some snacks. The yummy smelling treats of Cinnabon greeted us as we passed by their small store there.

My friend bought a plate of Mini Chocobron and I was so tempted to buy myself one not only because it smelled good but also it looked so yummy and mouth watering. And so, I bought a box of four to bring home and share with.

A Place to Stay at Laiya, Batangas: Kabayan Beach Resort

It has been a long time since my former office mates and I had an outing together and so we decided to organize an out of town trip to Laiya, Batangas to party together once again.

We booked a room at Kabayan Beach Resort for an overnight stay on a weekend. We contacted them through their website (http://www.kabayanresort.com.ph/) and we got a big 2 room cottage good for 15 people, however, there were only 9 of us who went to the weekend getaway.

Another Visit at Ilog Maria Bee Farm

It was a Saturday and we were going south to visit my lola's lot at Dasmariñas, Cavite when I convinced them to drop by Ilog Maria so I could buy some soaps for me and my cousin's small business. After we went to Dasmariñas, Cavite, we went to Silang, Cavite where Ilog Maria is found.

The several times I was here, I only visit their store, this was the first time I decided to explore the place. It was smelling flowers all over the place with a mix of lavender from the plants they have around. These are the main food of the bees and also, their ingredients for their products. At the back of the store is their actual bee farm where they harvest the honey and propolis they use in their products. They also have a museum where they feature the different things about the bee farm. I didn't get to go inside since the owner was there sleeping on one of the tables near it. There are some tarpaulins that you can read about the different benefits of honeys and bees.

Hangout on a Friday at TGIF

After our TimeOut from Smart watching Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon, some of us decided to go home, however, we decided to go back to Makati and meet up with my other office mates at TGIF in Glorietta.

We arrived there at TGIF around 8pm and the place was slowly filling up. At first I thought that they have a small place with a few tables for the guests but when I got inside, it was really big and a lot of people can be seated at once. They have a smoking area where people can smoke while eating. This is what I usually see when I pass by it at the mall. On the other side, they have window seats overlooking the hotels and other establishments outside. We were seated near the far end of the place. A waitress was assigned to us to take care of our needs. This is what I like about them since at the moment you stepped inside, they will quickly accommodate you and will attend to your every need.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011)

It was our Time Out at SHI and we are entitled to have a free movie plus food for a day. We decided to register at The Block at SM North EDSA for the free movie and what excites me about it is we're going to watch the third installment of an awesome movie, Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

Off we went to The Block at lunch time to catch the movie which will be shown at 2:30 pm. It was a short ride since it wasn't rush hour and we got there before it starts and so, we just took pictures and ate the free Burger King meal they gave us.

Dinner at Heaven and Eggs

It was a long time since my high school barkada dined out together. We planned to do this every month but we seem to forgot it. Only recently that we decided to have dinner together at Heaven and Eggs. Located at the Ground floor of Glorietta 4 near the entrance facing Glorietta 5, we all went there to have a taste of the all day breakfast dishes they offer. It has been a long time since I wanted to try out this place but there were no chance for it, until now, and since we wanted to try out something new, we all decided to have dinner here.

The place is large and there are a lot of seats for guests. They have nice tables and seating which are all cushioned. The tables are wide enough for each guests. They have a dimly lit place and it feels cozy staying there. The crew are attentive and accommodates you upon arriving.

Rizal Passport: A Heritage Trail Map

I heard about the Rizal Passport the time days before Rizal's 150th birthday is to be celebrated. I researched about it and found out that it was to be given at Rizal's birthday last June 19. I was planning to get one and so, I contact the Product and Research Office of the Department of Tourism.

Rizal Passport is a project of the Department of Tourism (DOT) for Rizal's 150th birth anniversary. It aims for the tourists to visit the spots where Rizal had been all over the country. It is a chance to know our national hero more and somehow be a part of where he's been to. The very idea of traveling to different places triggered my wanderlust and so, I wasn't contented until I didn't get a hold of that said passport.

Touring The Historic Island of Corregidor

Back in college, I missed my chance in going to Corregidor since the trip requires a big amount of money and at that time, I had none, so I settled for the cheaper field trip alternative at Cavite at that time. This time, I learned about Sun Cruises tour on the historic island and I was more than excited to go and see what I missed a few years back.

Initially, I planned to stay overnight at the island because of an invite of a friend but when I was inviting others, it seems that they can't go with the initial plan, so I weighed on the details of the tour and decided to do a day trip since this will allow more of my high school friends to come.
