Dinner at Chic-Boy: Chicken at Baboy

The last time I ate at a Chic-Boy branch was a year ago and it was in their only branch by that time in Makati. Now, I was surprised that they have a branch near my place in Alabang. So together with my friends, we went there to have dinner.

Located at 2/F El Molito Commercial Center, Madrigal Ave. cor. Alabang- Zapote Rd., Muntinlupa City, just besides Pure Gold, Chic-Boy Chciken at Baboy offers a variety of meals that is surely in your budget.

Their place in Alabang is a bit big and can accommodate large group of people. I am not sure if they also occupy another floor but at that time, their guests only filled in their main level area. They also had a few seats outside for those guests who wants to stay there. The whole place reminds me of Mang Inasal's setup. They have wooden tables and chairs and each table had the number stand and some condiments. Crews are around refilling rice and iced teas for those who ordered unlimited. Their counter is located at the front where you'd order your food and then it will be served on your table. They also have wash areas for the guests convenience.

They usually serve chicken and pork dishes. The grilled and roasted are their specialty. They have Lechon Cebu Manok and Liempo as well as Chicken Inasal, which are all very good. They also serve other dishes such as sisig, porkchop, breakfast meals, merienda meals and a lot more others to choose from.

The last time I ate at Chic-Boy, they only had a few menu so, I was surprised that they had a lot to choose from now. We ordered their Chibog Busog Meal, Cebu Lechon Liempo, which comes with a free soup and unlimited rice. We also ordered a Bottomless Iced Tea which is only P25.

Bottomless Iced Tea (P25)

Lechon Cebu Liempo (P99)

The liempo was very yummy. The meat is tender and juicy and what I like about it is the vinegar dip that comes with it. It brings out all the flavor of the pork. The serving is also big that you would really want another serving of rice. It was all very cheap but very yummy and filling.

This was the best liempo meal I ever had and I am looking forward on another chance to eat here. So for those who want to try out Chic-Boy Chicken at Baboy, visit any of their branches across Metro Manila and have a taste of their yummy but cheap meals that I am sure you will surely love.
