Lunch Out Series: World Topps

It was a quite a while since our last lunch our and we decided to have one. originally, we wanted to dine at Shakey's but it was packed with customers at lunch time, and so, we walked the streets of Valero and found World Topps with just a few people dining in.

Located beside Mang Inasal at Valero Street, just behind PBCom Building is Worlt Topps. It is a small place and you can hardly notice it save for the sign on the restaurant entrance. As you enter, you will be greeted warmly by the waiters which will seat you. The place is just small. around ten to twenty people could fit, however, they have a second floor which offers more seats.

The counter and kitchen is located near the entrance. The interior is very nicely designed. You can feel a homey ambiance inside. The lighting are nice and dim making it very cozy. They have magazines available for waiting guests.

The waiters are very accommodating. They seated us, gave us menu and patiently waited to get our orders. They quickly served our drinks while waiting for our dishes. The waiting wasn't too long though, and soon, we were served with the dishes we ordered.

We had Crispy Fish, Sisig Topps and Fish and Chips. I am not really sure what are these dishes' real name but it was what I can remember from the menu. Both the fish and sisig were served on top of a bed of rice.

Crispy Fish (PHP180)

The Crispy Fish is a Tilapia where its meat is cut out and fried into crisp perfection. It is served with some soy sauce and a sidings.

Fish and Chips (PHP165)

The Fish and Chips are battered fish fried served with fries on the side with a yummy dip.

Sisig Topps (PHP150)

What I had was the Sisig Topps. It is sisig on top pf a bed of rice drizzled with mayonnaise for a rich flavor. It was yummy and the sauce from the meat ooze to the rice making it more flavorful. It was yummy and I liked it. The saltiness of the pieces of meat complements well with the rice and adding a hint of sweetness from the onions and the mayo, the combination of flavors is just right.

The food there was good and it has a lot of variety to choose from. I enjoyed eating and hanging out there. They have a nice place, good service, reasonable prices and yummy food. World Topps is one of the places I'd like to get back to. So visit them at:
