Food Trippin' Boracay: Jonah's Fruit Shake

On our first day at the island, when we were walking back from lunch, we decided to have the famous fruit shake that everybody raves about in Station 1 in Boracay. It is the famous Jonah's Fruit Shake.

Located along Station 1 just at the beach front, this branch of Joanah's Fruit Shake is one of the many in the island since they became famous and they branch out. The place here is good, you are facing the beach while the sea breeze and the sound of the waves relaxes you as you sip into a yummy drink. The place here is just small but can seat around forty to fifty guests. They have crews roaming around to quickly get your order.

As they take your order, you can decide if you'll have it there or have it on take out. When you chose to have it to go, they'll put the shake in a plastic bottle with a cap and a hole where the straw is placed it. It was a brilliant idea since you can take it anywhere with the plastic bottle.

They not only serve shakes but also other snacks. They have a whole variety in their menu. Some of the customers dining there are also eating and it seems like they are enjoying the food. Maybe next time, I'll try out their food but for the meantime, I'll have a taste of the famous shakes.

We ordered different flavors of the shake, Mango Rhum, Banana Choco Vanilla, Mango Milk, and Banana Choco Peanut.

Mango Milk (PHP95) and Mango Rhum (PHP110)
The Mango Milk is yummy and you can really taste the milk in it blended well with the mango. The Mango Rhum on the other hand is really good. The kick of the alcohol can really be tasted and it has a really nice flavor in it.

Banana Choco Peanut (PHP110) and Banana Choco Vanilla (PHP110)
The Banana Choco Peanut is good as well. The mix of banana and chocolate is just perfect plus the nutty flavor of the peanut really blends well marrying the flavors. The Banana Choco Vanilla is also good with the hint of a creamy vanilla flavor. Banana and chocolate equals good combination!

All were incredibly good and addicting. Halfway to the drink, we are already planning of going back to taste other flavors (but we failed to go back because of laziness :P). The reviews and raves about this is really true and it is one of those things you must put on your to-do list whenever you're in the island.

hi [pinkc00kies]! thanks for reading and commenting on my entries.. :) Glad you liked it.

What flavors did you get to taste here? I wanted to try other flavors but we had so many more to explore on our stay there so I guess it will have to wait on our next visit. :)
