Food Trippin' Boracay: Boracay Crab House

Our stay at Escondido includes a free dinner on our stay there. We availed it on the first night and we dinned in at their restaurant called Boracay Crab House.

Located at the Escondido Beach Resort, the place offers guests with their specialty which are crab dishes. The place is located at the second level inside the Escondido Resort compound. The interior consist of wooden tables and chairs. It is an open area and guests can enjoy the nature around while dining in a cozy atmosphere. During night time, the light illuminate the place as well as the small garden below and the place is somewhat enchanting and a nice place for bonding with family or friends.

The staff were all accommodating. In fact, they have the best service that I ever encountered. Upon telling them to prepare our dinner at 7pm, it was ready by that time and all we have to do is sit and wait for the food to be served. They are also attentive to our needs that when we drop a utensil, they quickly responded and got us a new pair without even asking them. They also gave us some wash basin after our meal and they provided all the utensils we need. They are very friendly and we really loved their staff.

Our food arrived and it was served hot. Our free dinner was better than what we expected. In fact, it was way better. The servings was large and the food tasted good. We were not disappointed. We had Chicken Pork Adobo Meal, Grilled Liempo Meal and Boneless Bangus Meals. These meals comes with rice and a vegetable side dish. It was very filling since serving size is really big and the dishes are really yummy. We are glad that the free dishes they have is this good and we feel very filled after the meal! Also, as an additional order, we had the restaurant's specialty, crabs. It was priced per gram and we had it for share.

The crabs was really good. It is Crab in Chili Garlic sauce. We all loved it. They served it chopped and with all the tools needed to get all the meat in it. It was best enjoyed using no utensils. We were all enjoying the crab and the food that we lost track of time. It was difficult to eat but it was very yummy. The crab meat goes well with the chili garlic sauce it had. It was perfect!

Overall, we loved the place very much. The ambiance is good and we liked the cozy atmosphere and the all wooden design inside. We also loved the staff as they are very friendly and was very attentive to us. The food was also a winner and is the best crabs that we tasted. The price is not that cheap but I am sure you'll get your money's value for it. Also, the place is a bit hidden that when you dine here, you can enjoy it among yourselves. There are a few guests here and everything is peaceful. We give a two thumbs up to this place and we recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay and eat in Boracay. Try them out and I am sure you will also enjoy it,
