Dinner at Café Breton

When we watched the 3rd Philippine International Pyromusical Competition in the SM Mall of Asia, we decided to avail the promos of the restaurants that are facing the bay area. They have several promos for that day and we decided to avail Café Breton's since most of us wanted to taste their crepes there.

Located at G/F SM Mall of Asia, Entertainment Mall, SM Central Business Park, Bay City, the restaurant is facing the bay side area and is among those who has a nice view of the sky for the fireworks on this event.

They have dining areas inside the restaurant as well as on the outside, which is much more spacious. It has a view of the bay as well as all those activities setup on the area closer to the bay. As you enter, you will notice that their kitchen is exposed and you can actually watch them make their crepe. We just stayed inside for a while because our reserved seat is outside.

Where they make the crepes

We paid PHP575 for their special offer which is consumable. We can order anything we want there and eat it as the show in the sky proceeded. Their menu is consist of sandwiches and mostly desserts. They have a wide selection of the flavors on the crepe you can choose from. All are mouth watering and makes you want to taste them all. They also serve several selections of drinks that I think are also pretty good.

We had some sandwiches since it was dinner time. We ordered the Chicken Run and the Breton Mozzarella  Burger. For our drinks, we had their Café Liegeois, Rootbeer Float and their Royal Tru Orange Float. For dessert, we chose to taste their crepes. We had the Le Magnifique!, Blueberries and Cream, La Délice and  Fantastic Pinay.

Chicken Run (PHP156.50)

I had their Chicken Run and it was slices of whole wheat bread topped with chicken breast with asparagus and cheese sauce. It was sided with some salad. The dish was good. I liked the chicken and asparagus combination. The cheese sauce all over it makes it more good. Plus it was really healhy dish plus, it is very filling. I may be a little biased since I like vegetables on any dishes but I can guarantee that this one is a winner.

Breton Mozzarella Burger (PHP204.75)

The Breton Mozzarella Burger is one of their winner dishes there. The hamburger patty looks ordinary at first but as you slice in it, the cheese will ooze out, adding a yummy flavor to the burger. It is also served with a side salad and this dish is very filling.

Café Liegeois (PHP120)

The Café Liegeois (leej*wah) is one of their must try drink. It is composed of a shot of espresso, coffee ice cream whipped cream and chocolate sauce. It was like heaven! I simply love it! :)

Royal Tru Orange Float

Rootbeer Float
As for the Rootbeer Float and Royal Tru Orange Float, it was all good also. Its the first time I saw Royal Tru Orange Float that is topped with cream and some orange powder. It looked good though.

As for their yummy crepes, Le Magnifique!Blueberries and Cream , La Délice and  Fantastic Pinay  were all heaven! Mangoes, bananas, blueberries, cream and chocolate sauce. Everything was good, no words can make me describe how yummy they all tasted!

Le Magnifique! (PHP201.50)
Le Magnifique! is banana, Nutella, Whipped Cream and almonds.

Nlueberries and Cream (PHP228.50)
Blueberries and Cream is blueberries in syrup and cream, generous serving of vanilla ice cream topped with whipped cream.

La Délice (PHP207.00)
La Délice is banana, Nutella, vanilla ice cream and almonds.

Fantastic Pinay (216.25)
Fantastic Pinay is mango, nutella, chocolate sauce and whipped cream.

Everything there was all good. The location is nice, the restaurant's ambiance is also good. The crew are very accommodating and best of all, the food was great especially the crepes. I'm sure I'll be back here when I have those crepe cravings in the future!
