Dinner out at Razon's of Guagua

After watching Avengers courtesy of our Smart Timeout, we waited for some office mates and after that, we had our dinner at Razon's of Guagua.

The store is located at the outer area of the mall near the department store. I am not really sure where exactly but you can ask the guards around and I am sure they will tell you where you can find it. They serve Kapampangan dishes and this place is famed for its yummy halo-halo.

It was quite difficult to find a place at first but since we are still waiting for others to get there so, we got some seats after a while. The staff was also patient enough that we transferred seats from another and they need to clean it to accommodate us. However, when I asked for a glass of water for us since the area was a bit difficult to get in and out, they just simply showed us the water dispenser. I just hoped that they had explained that it was self service and not just point it out.

The place has a nice interior. It has different reference to the dishes they serve as well as where the place originated. You will also see the counter at the back side where guests get to order and pay for the food. It will be served on your tables after a while since they will prepare it upon ordering.

We had a lot of dishes that night. We had their Sizzling Sisig, Sizzling Bulalo, Sizzling Bangus Steak, Dinuguan with Puto and a small Pansit Bilao. It seems like a feast that night from all the food in our table.

The Sizzling Sisig, Sizzling Bulalao and Sizzling Bangus Streak were all served in a hot plate and is really sizzling hot.

Sizzling Sisig (PHP175)

The Sizzling Sisig tasted good. It was one of the best Sisig I have tasted. It has the right crunch and it really is an authentic Kapampangan Sisig.

Sizzling Bulalo (PHP238)

The Sizzling Bulalo is kinda unique. It has a lot of the big bones and a few meat on a gravy like sauce. It was equally delicious and yummy.

Sizzling Bangus Steak (PHP262)

The Sizzling Bangus Steak is also good. I liked that the serving is big and it was served hot.

Dinuguan (PHP92)

Puto (PHP38)

The Dinuguan with Puto is aslso a winner and a perfect match, however, we didn't expect that it is a small serving and the puto are in mini sizes. Thankfully, we have other dishes to eat so it was just okay.

Pancit Bilao (PHP450)

The Pansit Bilao was also good and the one we ordered is really big and was good enough for a large number of people. It also tasted good and the toppings of egg and chicharon together with the sauce mix up pretty well. I liked how it tasted. It is not the typical pancit malabon or palabok that I am used to.

The dishes here are really good and I am sure that when you tried it, you will surely come back for more. Unfortunately, we haven't tried their famed Halo-halo, but it is another reason to go back.

Food is good and yummy, price is reasonable, but a bit pricey for some with small servings, crew are nice and the place is clean. Razon's is the place you must try especially when you are craving for Kapampangan dishes here in the metro.
