Zambales Weekend Getaway: Lunch at Nora's Resto

We got to San Antonio in Zambales at around lunch time and before we go to Nagsasa, we decided to have lunch here and also to buy some stuff for our camping trip. We immediately headed to Nora's Resto which is located near the market in San Antonio.

The small restaurant has a burger stand at the front. As you enter their small place, there are wooden tables inside for guests. It can actually accommodate large groups. What is nice here is that it is air conditioned and has a comfort room for the guests. The dishes in the menu looks promising and the attendant assisted us well.

We ordered a bowl of Sinigang na Baboy for me and my friend to share. We also had Pork Liempo value meal and Sisig value meal that comes with  a serving of veggies and a glass of iced tea. The other groups also had sinigang and all the other dishes they offer.

The servings are okay, it was good enough for me and also it is very filling. They served it pretty quick considering that they didn't expect a large number of guests at that time. They told us that the Sinigang was not ready but it was served after a while.

Sinigang na Baboy (P70)

The Sinigang na Baboy was good, a bit sour and too salty for me but it was tolerable. The brought was good paired with the rice. The meat is also tender and it has a lot of veggies with it.

Sisig (P85)
The Sisig is a bit dry for me. I didn't quite like it but it was okay. I just drowned it with the Sinigang's broth.

Sinigang na Hipon (P75)

Liempo (P85)

This is a nice place to dine in if ever you intend to go to Nagsasa or Anawangin. They have affordable dishes and also the location is near the market where you can buy supplies for your camping needs. The service is also good and the food is filling. Try visiting Nora's Resto if ever you're going to the coves if Zambales.
