Light Lunch at Latte Coffee Kalibo

As we go back from our weekend getaway, we went early to catch our flight in Kalibo Airport going back to Manila. It was almost lunch time and we decided to have a light bite in the airport. We decided to eat at Latte Coffe Kalibo at the second floor of the departure area of Kalibo Intenational Airport.

Latte Coffee Kalibo is a small café located at the 2nd floor of the Kalibo International Airport. You will not notice it at first since it was among the souvenir stores there.There are small tables with it that can sit around ten people. There are only a few guests and most of them are just eating light snacks before the flight. They offer drinks, coffee, pastries, pasta and sandwiches. We chose to eat there since it was only a few minutes before our flight.

Milk Tea Hunt: Serenitea

The newly opened branch of Serenitea located at Rada Street in Makati is becoming popular since its opening a few weeks ago.Since I like milk tea, I wanted to try it out and so, I went there just to have a taste of the famed Serenitea.

From our office at Ayala Avenue, you need to walk going to Dela Rosa Street and as you see the Rada, Street sign, you are near! You just need to walk further down the street and you will find this store at the left side of the street (if you're from Dela Rosa) with a brightly lit signboard at the front.

Food Trippin' Boracay: Andok's

As our first meal in Boracay, we decided to go to D'Mall and see what we can have. There are a lot of option there but we ended up choosing Andok's Manok for our lunch.

Located at the middle of the D'Mall, you can find a small area where Andok's is. It is besides the other restaurants there with some tables and chairs for customers to dine in. You can have your order on their counter where you can also choose what is available there. You will then wait for your order to be served.

Food Trippin' Mercato: Manang's Chicken

When we were in the Midnight Mercato, we tried this popular Chicken Wings that my friend is raving about. It is from a stall called Manang's Chicken.

It was said that this yummy chicken wings were just a recipe of the owner's helper and every time it was served to the guests, they keep coming back for more, and so, they decided to try their luck on the Midnight Mercato and opened a stall there and soon, foodies discovered the yummy and crispy chicken wings in a unique dip that will you will surely crave for.

Midnight Food Haven at the Midnight Mercato

Midnight Mercato is becoming a popular trend with the foodies of the city. It is similar to Ortigas' Banchetto wherein different food stall gather in a certain area every Friday night and offer a variety of dishes for those who love to experience the different treats eaach stall has to offer.

It opens at around 10pm and if you really want to experience it, you should be there at around that time. There are seats available and even if food stalls are not all opened yet, most of them are already operating. The food stalls are all at the sides of the place. You can chose from different varieties, pasta, grilled, baked, etc. There are really a lot of choices here. The tables and chairs are at the middle. Sometimes, it extends outside but since it was a bit rainy, all of them are cramped inside the tent. There is also a mini stage in the middle of the tent that was built for this. This is where performers play music. It provides a nice ambiance in the chaotic queues of people lining up for food.
