Lunch Out Series: BonChon Chicken

It has been a while since I dined outside our office because of our super hectic schedule and deadlines. We decided to have a break for a while and have lunch at Ayala Triangle Gardens at BonChon Chicken.

BonChon Chicken is known for the yummy crispy skin they have on their chicken. Their place in Ayala Triangle Garden is among the array of restaurants on the side of the park. Interior is small just like the other places there, and they also have seats outside for the rush hour where there are a lot of people dining in. Service is good and even if there are a lot of guests at that time, they served the food quickly. They also assisted us in getting a place for the almost 20 of us all who went there.

The first time I ate there, I just like the crispy yummy skin of the chicken but the dry meat inside is not that good. This time, I get to order the chops which I though was pork at first but was apparentlychicken cut into thin slices. It was also good and tasted like the chicken wings and drumstick because of the same sauce/coating on the skin part. I like the serving size since it was way more than the chicken wings. The flavor of the skin also didn't get to the meat inside which turned out a bit dry too. However, it was a favorite of most of us and the taste is still good enough for me.

Here are the dishes we had. For around Php145, you can enjoy a rice meal paired with a drink that is filling enough.

Chicken Wings Rice Box (Php135)

Bulgogo Rice Box (Php145)

2pcs Chicken Drumstick Rice Box (Php145)

Chicken Chop Rice Box (P145)

Get a bite of their yummy chicken and see for yourself. Visit them at:
